These are the candidates I am supporting and why they deserve your vote. Includes Lacey and Tumwater too!

This is a turning point election for Olympia City Council and the stakes could not be higher. Five seats are open which means a chance at real policy change. The current council has been the architects of failure, presiding over a steep drop in the quality of life in our city due to homeless encampments, crime and political violence. The need for new policy is urgent. Luckily, there are indie candidates running this year that you can feel good voting for.

If these candidates get elected, Olympia will have taken the first step toward a brighter future. The primary is August 3rd, and unlike most years, there is a real choice. All of the candidates I am endorsing are Olympia residents who are as upset as you about the state of our city, and are disrupting their lives to do their civic duty by running for office. They offer hope.

I endorse Corey Gauny, Spence Weigand and Wendy Carlson for Olympia City Council.

I not only want to see these people elected, I want them to dominate their races for multiple reasons. Most importantly, a wide margin will show there is visible support in the community, a mandate for new policy directions.
